Stormwater: New Industrial General Permit
TOPIC: Much attention is being placed on the July 1st effective date for the new General Industrial Permit for Stormwater Compliance but did you know there are steps you need to take before that date? We are less than six weeks away.
So have you:
1. Reapplied for coverage? You must reapply under the new permit regardless of if you submitted an NOI before.
2. Considered that "Light Industry" must now register for an NEC?
3. Updated your SWPPP, which will now be available online to whomever wants to see it?
4. Evaluated past sample results & compared them to the new "Numeric Action Levels"? This will drive your BMP choices.
5. Retrained your staff?
